I'm not blaming the G5 teams. If the ACC had rational tiebreakers, Miami would've gotten the automatic bid and the first round would've been more entertaining. That's not the G5s' fault.

That has nothing to do with my point. If the conferences were of reasonable size and could determine champions without going to 5th tiebreakers, Miami (or SMU, or Georgia Tech) would've won the ACC and two G5s wouldn't have made it.

No discussions about this should take place without blaming the major conferences. This 12 team format was set to be great, but the SEC and B1G messed it up before it could even happen by eating other leagues to enrich themselves. That led to stupid mega leagues and everything that happened after.

And in total I half watched about 35% of one game. The ratings will be very interesting.

The funny thing is, I was against the bowl opt out when it first broke. I preferred to watch my team play again. But the more these clowns act like clowns, I'm glad ND stuck it in their eye. Use us for content, we can't stop you, but we can push back too.

I can't put into words how mad I am about this. Not being left out. In a vacuum that's justifiable. The process was so transparently corrupt. It was all kayfabe. An act.

Don't clutch your pearls now. You did all of this, ESPN. You devalued bowls and the regular season. Now we're acting accordingly.

It was all a lie from the start.

The committee wanted Notre Dame in, which is why they lied about their position for weeks. But they were priority C. Priority A was Alabama gets in at all costs. Priority B was the ACC doesn't get excluded entirely.

When Duke won, it was over for Notre Dame.

ND could stand against ISIS and be criticized for it by people like you.

The final rankings were defensible. The process to get to them was transparently corrupt. And the only reason people aren't admitting that is they're happy ND was the aggrieved party. Period.

Pro the teams they have rights to. Usually that's primarily the SEC, but in this discussion the ACC came into play as well.

(Note: I hate being the team relying on metrics and not resume to say they're better. ND was in the reverse position most of the Brian Kelly era and it drove me bananas. But you know what? Kelly teams repeatedly got killed when it mattered. Those annoying people had a point.)

Texas Tech has played at least four opponents (3 OOC cupcakes and de facto FCS team Oklahoma State) worse than anyone on Notre Dame's schedule. I'll listen to people like this when they stop scheduling like weenies.

The same Big 10 airing Minnesota at Iowa on a major network this week because the other options are even worse? OK, Desmond.

Of course it does. The two entities are effectively one and the same now.
