Geographer at heart, head often in the clouds but feet firmly planted on the ground! Some work stuff, but all views expressed are very much my own...
Oh bless, it’s probably so that the old guy doesn’t get lost if he starts wandering…

Sorry @mitchbenn.bsky.social but Lace Market isn’t available / they need the stage for set building on those dates. They did mention a small theatre group in West Bridgford that might be able to help but I have no contacts there. www.wbds.co.uk/our-history

1680 football pitches out of an equivalent 40 million. That’s 0.0042%. Context matters.

Apologies. Given some of your recent posts I assumed you were having another pop at Starmer.

I suspect the picture she’s used and the word ‘gone’ will
Come back and bite her at some point…

What’s prompted another round of this nonsense? There is no hand over of power to corporations in those zones, at least not in the U.K.

It seems to be a consistent pattern which then leads on to criticism that the Government’s (and Labour’s) comms are crap. But how do you achieve cut through when the audience seems to have pre decided what you are actually saying and not looking at the substance - or even worse relying on hearsay?
September 2, 2025 at 11:41 AM
I suspect that’s going to be expensive to sort out…
September 2, 2025 at 11:33 AM
It is a new level of bird nerdy…!
September 2, 2025 at 7:02 AM
And surely Labour (and other voters) don’t need telling whether a proposed Reform policy is abhorrent or not? They know what their own hearts and minds feel on any given issue.
