Today my beloved cat, Busy, is nineteen years old. Please enjoy these photos of our little celebration yesterday! Biz gobbled her salmon pate enthusiastically, and the rest of the family had a chocolate-frosted banana cake.

There are some flurries today, and it’s barely above 0, but my neighbour’s magnolia tree has big, fuzzy buds on, and spring is coming!

Please enjoy this picture of Cutie, our hamster, hanging out on my son’s bed while I cleaned her habitat this evening. Her teeny paws and floofy fur are a lovely distraction from the doomscroll.

My yard looks like this, but it’s 5° today so it feels like spring!

This is the view to my left. She’s purring so loudly, but is so sleepy, it sounds a bit like a congested pigeon. I’m surprised she isn’t drooling. May we all be so comfy!
