Hell yeah! Looking forward to the gig in York!

Artober 31: Round and round the wheel turned, the funfair attendees laughing and taking in the sights and waving to their friends below. And then the screaming started.

I didn't really know what to expect beyond what the trailers showed, which had a kind of Silent Hill vibe. But it was something else. I thought it built the creepiness up pretty well, which made the jump scares more effective. YMMV, but I enjoyed it.

Movie 31: Shelby Oaks (2024). 12 years after her crewmates were murdered and she disappeared, internet paranormal investigator Riley Brennan's sister receives new evidence and starts to investigate the ghost town of Shelby Oaks for herself. Could Riley still be alive?

Artober 30: After the runaway success of the Cheddar Goblin campaign (especially in the pre-teen demographic - where slime always sells well), the range soon expanded to gravies, meats and even nuts. Each goblin was more hideous than the last.

Surrealist revenge horror with Nic Cage. Certainly stylish and brutal and weird and at times almost beautiful, it doesn't *quite* work for me, but I respect the bonkersness of it all. Also: Nic Cage.

Movie 30: Mandy (2018). After the woman he loves is kidnapped and killed by a cult leader - with help from cannibalistic demon bikers - a lumberjack snaps and goes out for bloody revenge.
