The reason they even sprouted is because we bought a variety I didn't overly like and had a few left when I replaced them! So they're just my limbo potatoes 😂.

I threw out a liquified cucumber today. We have a small forest of long potato sprouts at the bottom of the pantry I'm steadfastly ignoring, though.

THE HORROR.

I am going to try and collect them and see if they germinate. Our magnolia have seed pods too!

YES. The only acceptable pie is mince or steak. (Or specifically a lamb pie I make with leftover braised lamb chops, OR bacon and egg pie for homemade).

One of them has developed a seed pod!

I'm really glad we moved. Because whoever decided to include most of Newlands in HUTT SOUTH even though it's not even in Lower Hutt city needs sense slapped into them.

Are they changing you from standard user to a low user plan? The daily charge usually goes up but per kWh is less. Or they're just giant assholes.

(They are killed on farm and then taken to the butcher for further processing)

I think the variety is Temptone!

I have so many curtains closed to keep the heat out, and my high velocity fan blasting.

Just grabbed these pics for you. It's hot on the deck!

Have had good success with pink lady/cripps pink apples still being crisp. Lots of sprouting seeds in them. But good crispness!

So many fat stains. And pruning paste. 😅

Two years is A LOT, especially in a damn rescue context.

Take unspayed young dogs home. But you can't adopt them until they're fixed. Therefore, SPCA retains legal ownership and can always have them seized.

Even waiting for health/maturity reasons, 18 months seems to be the peak benefit for letting most dogs mature and still reaping the most benefit of decreased mammary cancer risk after spaying. Only dogs I'd ever wait until 2 would be *giant* breeds. The SPCA near us will let you take
