I think that the three of them were relegated to secondary characters more and more as the series went on. They had to have episodes focussed around each character but the writers weren't as bothered about them and their stories suffered.

That makes sense. Whenever we go away over the Christmas period, I always feel like getting Christmassy a little earlier.

😆 Too early to think about Christmas. I might start thinking about putting up a few decorations in the week before Christmas, but only because we're hosting the family meal this year.
