I car share with a colleague on my commute to work and the place I normally park my car is being closed so I'm going to venture out into the rain to see if I can find an alternative while it's still light out. Wish me luck!

Half a stone lost since the start of the new year and with no change in what I'm eating (even still eating from the mysteriously refilling bowl of Christmas chocs). I guess those extra calories from wine really do make a difference. Think I'll continue to be wine-free for a while.

Other than a quick trip to the supermarket (that ended up with a smashed beer bottle 🤦♂️), it was nice to have a cosy day at home. It's still raining but the fire is warm and my belly is full.

Despite feeling a bit snuffley, I've had a nice day out to Swansea with the hubby today. Always takes me back to the late 90s when I'd go and visit friends at uni there.
