Ex-UX (?) designer. Twin daddy. Game designer in progress. Studying financial planning.
I remember the ride home with my then-girlfriend now wife after seeing that in the theater. Very similar response.
"Interesting movie huh? By the way, we're good right?"

No worries, thanks! I'm tracking how it's used, but wondered if there was a pun/meaning for the scissors emoji.
E.g. "does this topic emphasize prototyping?"

Bit of a similar boat here. Working on first game and was targeting Origins. TBD if it’ll get where it needs to be in time.

Mm Hmm. My game group is hitting the point where we've been exposed to and learned a variety of games, but hasn't internalized or finished many.

Our town has a boardgame rental service, its 1st BG cafe, and a new collection at the library to help fill the void. Interesting to see how they'll do.

I think we agree broadly, but I think a "planner" is less common and more likely to be a fiduciary/CFPs that covers a range of topics (taxes, investments, insurance, drawdown sequence), not just investing.

If you only use a planner for rebalancing low cost index funds, sure. But there's a lot of costly and easy to screw up details around estates, taxes, and realty income/transactions that a planner can help navigate.
