I never expected to see a delegate literally call out a councillor for sleeping during a meeting.

We need basic fiscal accountability.

Today, #HamOnt school trustee Sabreina Dahab shared a video saying “Fuck Israel, Israel is a bitch".
As a parent, I’m disgusted. Antisemitism has no place in our schools. Email the HWDSB Chair, Premier Ford, and Minister Paul calandra to demand an investigation. #HamOnt #StopAntisemitism

#HamOnt has hundreds of decrepit, and derelict buildings dragging entire neighbourhoods down. Tomorrow, October 1st, I’ll be at City Hall pushing for a new approach. Bylaw is a blunt tool, we need a scalpel. Time to get to work.

We had about 25 people join in, filled an entire truck bed with garbage, and even put up new nets on the basketball hoops.

The Microshelter project ran 300% over budget. Millions were wasted because of inadequate scrutiny of an obviously bad deal.
That money should have gone to help more people get housed. Council failed everyone involved.
