#WordPress is full of magic strings in the meta tables, so I started generating them with a little PHP enum.

My screenshot only shows one case, but you can imagine this scaling out.

Turns out… this is actually super handy.

#Laravel has one of the cleanest and most scalable ways to run background jobs in PHP.

Adding Illuminate queue and worker support to Waffle made importing ~2M rows into #WordPress a breeze.

I love working with movie data for demos.

However, I find using the raw JSON data from a TheMovieDB response difficult to wrangle.

Working on a package to convert the responses to DTOs. It's called Rosebud.

Refactored "Big Comics" to use Vector embeddings for search using @meilisearch.com.

The change allows the user to control the "Semantic Ratio" applied to search terms.
