I was thinking the same thing. Are teams really unable to trade these guys to get something back?? Heck even if they are just trading these non tender guys for other non tender guys

You’re right but as a bat in the 7-9 spots I don’t think that’s a huge deal. Getting 15 home runs at the bottom of the order is still great and he is elite at making contact. Also there is still a chance he improves
