There's something so refreshing and enjoyable about Becky Chambers Wayfarers novels.

It's great to see Channel 4 breaking new ground by commissioning digital dramas. Beth is a meditative and delicately told story by Uzo Oleh of a couple's attempt to conceive.

Death Valley is delightfully charming. Really hoping it gets a second series as the chemistry between Timothy Spall & Gwyneth Keyworth is bloody lovely.

It was lovely to see Manchester Film Festival so busy yesterday, and an even lovelier moment to have Paul Holbrook & the Boys Like You team win Best Director.

Talking about animation #WolfKing over on Netflix is a really enjoyable adaptation of Curtis Jobling books. Some gorgeous animated sequences.

Also out this weekend is the beautiful and remarkable Oscar winning #Flow It's proof that independent animation ought to be screamed about every chance we get.

There's a couple of exceptional films being released this weekend, including Sandhya Suri's spectacular debut #Santosh which usurps the conventions of a police procedural to question societal hierarchies and expectations around gender. #film

I really enjoyed The Score when it was released back in 2021. It felt incredibly bold, confident and frankly different to see a musical heist as a debut feature. It's a shame it wasn't more widely seen at the time, and well worth checking out. #film

Alrighty time to start season 3 of #WheelofTime

To say Adolescence is a difficult watch would be an understatement. It's such a raw and emotionally charged exploration of male rage and indoctrination. Absolutely spectacular storytelling and craft to tell it in one shot.

Late to the party as usual, but Resident Alien is a lot of fun. Alan Tudyk remains a master of his craft.
