We’re starting the new year with unexpected and devastating news: our 4-year-old son Lucas has been diagnosed with B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Despite this, he’s doing well—happy, smiling, and full of strength. He begins chemotherapy this week, and we’re staying hopeful/positive.
