Definitely should not be necessary. Having a degree is great, but not having one doesn’t mean you can’t excel in software dev / computer science roles. Teams are missing out on great candidates if they are requiring degrees.
Re: all the NHL jobs opening…is it really necessary in today’s age to require (vs having it as preferred) college degrees in computer science/data science? Genuinely curious on the opinions here
