We went to the Art Institute and saw a lot of awesome paintings like Night Hawks, American Gothic, At the Moulin Rouge, and A Sunday on La Grande Jatte

I think we checked off most of the Chicago staples including steaks at Bavette’s, Italian beef and Chicago dogs at Johnny’s, and deep dish from Lou Malnati’s

I used to work at Sexton Family Christmas Trees in Great Falls VA when I was in grad school, great seasonal job. Now I go back every year the Friday after Thanksgiving to get a tree 🌲

My Sunday Roast plans got delayed, so for Monday dinner I made pork loin roast with fennel, apple, and herbs; mashed Yukon gold potatoes with roasted garlic and ricotta; glazed carrots with rosemary and hot honey; and apple cider braised chard #FoodSky
