At a time when many Edmontonians are struggling, acts of kindness - like today’s generous donation to the food bank - remind us of the power of giving and community.
Thank you to the organizers of today’s event for bringing us together and showing how we can build a stronger Edmonton, together.

That is why serving is both a privilege and a challenge.
I know our city will rise to meet this moment.
A stronger Edmonton is not an aspiration; it is a shared responsibility. For each other. For our city. And for the generations still to come.

Municipal government is where the work of democracy is felt most directly.
When snow is cleared, when the emergency lights come on, when a park is renewed or a business permit is approved, that is local government in action

Edmonton has always been at its best when we work together. As mayor, I'll build on this strength by bringing together governments, non-profits, Indigenous leaders, faith communities, and engaged citizens to ensure our city works for everyone.

That's why I developed a cost-effective plan to address this urgent crisis and build a more compassionate and secure city for everyone.
Here's my plan:
▪️Increase social and affordable housing
▪️Rapid action for urgent needs
▪️Prioritize prevention
