Made it to the Hill Country a few weeks ago. The stand-out #txwine stop was Portree Cellars. Almost all single varietal, single vineyard wines, and everything we tried was very good. It’ll be a must-stop on our next trip.

Fantastic meal at Xalisko in The Woodlands yesterday! Corn tamal, pastor tacos, fajita torta, cafe de olla, and hot chocolate.

Such a nice #txwine from Threshold in Navasota. White peach, grapefruit and floral notes on the nose. Flavors full of pear and Meyer lemon. Well balanced acidity. All from a hybrid grape grown in the Texas gulf coast!

Got the F Sport Performance exhaust for the IS. Pretty quiet when just cruising around but makes nice noises when getting into the throttle.

Lunch at Goode Company Fish Camp last week: grilled catfish,
seafood rice, shrimp empanada. Happy to see they’re pulling more dishes from Goode Company Seafood’s menu.

Got my Honda Navi about 6 months ago. I actually like that it’s a new 40 year old bike; carburetor, air cooled,
drum brakes, just enough to make it work. Lots of fun and instant stress relief, at least until the carb goes.

Checked out Teysha Vineyards in Huntsville a few days ago. They’re making some really fun #txwine.
