I build stuff with Replit and Zapier. Sometimes for money, sometimes for fun!

From the UK, but living in Hungary for 11+ years.

Finally I asked it to find and display a YouTube video for each band.

Next, integrate with Perplexity to pull a list of local bands.

Replit Agent got a bit stuck here parsing the band data from the Perplexity JSON response - lost $0.45 to fixing that.

(I had it display the JSON on page so I could screenshot that back to Agent)

I broke the app into steps/problems to solve… Replit Agent does better that way.

First: click a button, get long/lat coordinates.

Second: use that to calculate nearest town.

Day 3 in Italy - I wanted to find some local bands to listen to.

So I built an app with #Replit. It cost $1.65 and took 45mins.

Push a button… the app finds the nearest town/city… lists some bands… plays me a YouTube video 🎧

The final step… asking Replit to create comparison pages for every single metric + fruit pair combo.

It nailed it in a single prompt 😁

Didn’t even know I would do a pSEO site at first… just asked Replit to build something fun with the API and let it parse the content of the API docs.

First, it made some ‘random fruit’ checker with a comparison tool on the side.

I asked it to zero in on comparison.

Today I used Replit to build a programmatic SEO site for fun.

It took about 15mins and cost $0.80.

Compare fruits and their nutritional values.

Here are the steps 👇

Car trip to Italy. Building stuff on Replit 🔥

Click a button… get latest news from a random city via Perplexity.

20 mins and $0.55.

Building useless apps for fun feels like art tbh 😅 So much fun.

Their SEO manager must have a fun job…

Oh crap - it's not working on <a> links.

Replit is in a loop and can't fix it.

I even asked Claude for some suggestions, gave them back to Replit and still nothing 🙃

Anyone know what's up?

I needed a way to turn .docx into basic HTML.

Couldn't be bothered to wade through Google for freemium options.

Went to Replit Agent instead.

One prompt, 2 mins, done.

If anyone wants to use it, go ahead (nothing stored)👉 doc2html.replit.app
