I don't think politics has a lot to play in this one. This is all about the catalog, productive capacity and creative assets. When people start throwing bags of money at you, it tends to clarify the conversation.

This will hasten the death of social media transforming them into media distribution channels. Trust and verification at the hot new categories in technology. Also picking up the phone and making a call is going to start coming back as is in-person meetings. Funny how technology is bringing us back.

I didn't realize that airbnb was enshittifying the experience by charging transaction fees for changes. This is a standard practice with travel agencies but new for the short-term rental category. Looks like they've reached the end of their growth stage and they're now trying to optimize revenue.
