Adorable! Sounds like some good parenting to me.

If you're interested, it's worth checking out the "What We Left Behind" documentary about the show hosted by Ira Steven Behr himself. The writers get together and pitch a hypothetical revival season, which sounded pretty great!

Aw, that's wonderful! I have a similar story of watching the series in bits and pieces in sydication when I was a kid and not really getting it, only to be blown away when I went back and watched it as an adult. Some truly bold and moving television!

I didn't have much in the way of expectations for those Lego Star Wars shorts, but I ended up thinking they were a ton of fun and brimming with affection for all things Star Wars.

What's funny is that Karl Urban came to the closest to doing a straight up impression of DeForrest Kelley, and it still worked like gangbusters. If/when SNW introduces Bones, I'm really curious if they'd try to cast Urban again since he'd still be roughly age appropriate.

Carell was so good in LMS. I should go back and watch that movie again.

I'm all for leaving room for fans to imagine. But things like Tom's relationship with his dad, Seven's feelings about going back to Earth, how the Maquis would be received were long-running threads. You don't have to tie them all off definitively but we got NOTHING on them! Storytelling malpractice.
