I like what Gunn is building but I don't understand why DC isn't zeroing in on one-off comics like Kingdom Come and Crisis and Year One. Just make super successful comics movies! We don't need this super interconnected universe thing. Their animation department is doing this and it works!

I just don’t see the problem with my friends living here. They made the restaurant I ran possible. They made it popular! Who really doesn’t want them here?

The fact that the second time around, with what should be protected IRS documentation, they don’t ask and just raid.. that was always going to be the next escalation.

In 2019, I had to ask every member of my restaurant’s kitchen to quit if their social security number was fake because ICE was asking for all our employees information. I wouldn’t have to hand over their information if they weren’t currently employed.

There was clearly a W there. You are misconstruing the original point. Which is that a “w” sound requires a buildup of saliva. That “w” is integral to the sound AND idea. It is “hawk tuah.”
