In my Christian history course in seminary we talked about the Burned over district. Haven’t searched but I’d be shocked if there aren’t books about it. I’ll reach out to my old prof and see.

Yeah. Still crashed for a day, just not 2-3 days like previously. I’m hoping as we get used to them that’ll taper, but we’ll see.

Spikevax. Both had good efficacy, haven’t seen any comparison on reactogenicity

Interesting. I’ve had Moderna for all accept a Pfizer a couple years ago. This year’s Moderna had easily the least intense side-effects of any.

Trying to counter misinformation during the pandemic really showed this, and here’s another great example. Unfortunately it makes it that much easier to scare people into believing any number of conspiracy theories.

Going in I was going to be content with a 2-0 loss or better. Can’t believe I’m this disappointed in this result now. Hopefully a good sign of things to come.

I think it benefitted from being in the Star Wars universe, so it felt a little more lived in than some.
