People needing inpatient mental healthcare is rare - but when it does happen, people should be cared for as close to home as possible. That’s why I asked the exec member for health to make sure that people don’t have to go all the way from Harrogate to Teeside just to get the care they need

It was great to be joined by @tomgordonld.bsky.social when we visited the Woodlands pub on Wetherby Road to talk to the manager, Paul, and Guy from Heineken!
We learned all about the opportunities of the hospitality and brewing industries, and also hear the challenges they’re currently rising to.

Had an excellent evening with the Hookstone & Stonefall Action Group, learning about all their great work, and about all the work of guest speaker, Gabby from the Skell Valley project. Congratulations to HSAG including secretary Edna, member Fiona and chair Andrew on their “outstanding” RHS award
