I misread it as "vicious nerds." Still accurate in places.

Savage.

It's true though.

Summon the final raccening.

Oh my god this is fantastic. I may have to try booting Bazzite this weekend to give it a go.

That's fantastic actually. I want to say that some libs are missing in the default Ubuntu install so that distribution probably just comes preloaded with them. Super cool.

I haven't even set up Linux on the gaming PC here but I'm probably gonna do that exact thing. I'm on Ubuntu for my laptop and my main work machine.

Dreams can come true.

Honestly? Loving it.

I have a PC which is Windows 10 for games and it'll stay that way but every other machine I own is Ubuntu or a Raspberry Pi.

Trust me, between Edge and Office subscription and Copilot and One Drive, the choice was already easy for me. I hated all of the nagging and wheedling.

If you're able to kill it with fire on your end though, so much the better.

I hear you. I made the choice to nuke my old OS and to go all in on Linux because of all of this crap.

Real talk though - Gameboy was my entry into gaming. I grew up on Pokémon. Then Gameboy Advance came out and I discovered Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Advance 2. Amazing games.

The advent of Windows 11 was what convinced me to go Linux last year. I'm just a default Ubuntu Andy here but it works for me.

Seething. That sounds amazing.
November 19, 2025 at 12:33 AM
God yes. Thank you. This "product" is an abomination.

Individual dollar payouts just feel like a really bad idea in general. Removing people from a large and diverse risk pool would only serve to drive costs up. It feels incredibly half-baked, even for him.
November 18, 2025 at 3:42 PM
Ugh. Sorry to hear that bud. That's lousy.
November 17, 2025 at 3:06 PM
If someone doesn't lowercase the T in the middle, I'm cooked. I have no idea what anybody is talking about.

That second job I mentioned usually had standups that were around 15 minutes, no more than 30 if they ran long and occasionally we'd have meetings called WTFuck?! where we'd discuss changes in workflows we were undertaking which would affect the whole team.

... very different culture. 😄

Good pupy.
