Die aktuelle globale Erwärmung läuft rund 20 mal schneller als die jene nach der letzten Eiszeit. Natürliche Einflüsse wie Sonnenstrahlung oder Vulkantätigkeit variieren nur geringfügig, haben kaum Wirkung. Die Treibhausgase, die wir ausstoßen ziehen die Temperatur hingegen radikal in die Höhe.
