Met an extremely chilled out sleepy seal today.

Also saw the excellent Paula Rego exhibition at the Dick Institute - met her once and I'm sure she would have loved the pig. Exhibition is fantastic, went to Dean Castle as well, Kilmarnock is quite a good day out folks!

I met this lovely pig today, just a darling. Look at her dainty little feet.

This 'Readers interview' with Gina Gershon features truly the most creepy question ever typed one-handed. Can't believe they included it. Poor Gina goes along to be polite.

Subway back from a fab night celebrating the new book by chums @glasmusictour.bsky.social. I may not be rock'n'roll anymore but can still read about it! May I suggest it's also a perfect present for any @6music.bsky.social Dads in your life this weekend?

Oh, Brian Wilson.
One of the oddest afternoons I've ever spent was at his house. He was fragile, obviously unable to do a conventional interview (it was only his 2nd in something like 15 years; the 1st went so badly his wife banned them but somehow I'd got round her). He answered in monosyllables.

I've loved working on this project with Aura, an advocacy and support group for people affected by domestic abuse, and getting to know some of the women and their stories. ❤️❤️❤️
The zine was launched today and is available through the library Borrowbox system as an ebook.

Ach that's such crap news. Janice is a terrific broadcaster, consummate professional and a lovely person. Appeared on her radio show many times but best memory is when she interviewed my dog Bailey! Hope she's feeling well and enjoying her days.

Found this set of memoirs in Glasgow Uni Library today. No idea who she is; "Wednesday At Four" is apparently about meeting the Queen. Clearly thought significant enough to be collected at one time, but they've not been stamped out since the 1990s. Wish I had time to read them, just for pity's sake.
