Just finished painting these glass wolves. I imagine them to be forest spirits ushering in new seasons.

The pieces are both cut and painted stained glass in a kiln using traditional vitreous glass painting techniques.

“Do Not Go Gently” is my contribution to skateboard show opening @111minnagallery.bsky.social April 11th @ 5pm

I was inspired by all of my rage at the current administration. It is a reminder of our collective power, and the need to fight back against the snake of facism.
On the right is a painted skateboard deck with a snarling tiger in the center wearing a pink bow. She has flames coming out of her eye sockets. In her mouth, she grips the belly of a large green snake. The snake’s body weaves the entire length of the skateboard. At the top of the board, the snake’s mouth is open, tongue out, fangs bared in an angry hiss. The flames of the tiger are reflected in his eyes. At the bottom of the board, the snake’s tail gently encircles a black widow spider that is all white instead of black, with a magenta “hourglass” that is two hearts connected. Obviously I had to do my main inspo Polly Pocket.

This is the world I always imagined when I was playing with her as a kid. My cozy place.
Heart shaped Polly pocket compact is open on a pastel pink and blue sky full of rainbows. My first piece of 2025 is heading to @archenemyarts.bsky.social for their show opening in Feb.

I’ve wanted to do a #totoro piece for ages and this was the perfect opportunity. There are so many hidden details I’m excited about.

WIP of a piece for a very special show @ Corey Helford Gallery

Polly pocket was a huge inspiration for my terrarium series and I was obsessed with them as a kid. I feel honored to participate in a show allowing me to use the official IP!
A heart-shaped Polly pocket is open set atop a pastel pink sky full of rainbows. The beginning stages of a painting are visible though the entire piece is not yet realized. The upper half features a home complete with bed, treehouse stairs, bookshelf, cozy chair, and table/desk. The lower half features a blonde girl reclining in a lush garden against the side of a sleeping tiger. In a nearby pond, swans and their babies play above 2 koi fish swimming gracefully. A fawn nestles sleeping against a tree. 2 hot air balloons float in the distance. All is peaceful.

I’m so excited about all the chaotic details in this piece, especially the Molotov cocktail.
