Democrats should be drawing up legislation right now, this very minute, to bar Trump from helping himself to $230 million in taxpayer funds from DOJ. Challenge Republicans to hold a vote on it. Push this so hard in the media that every GOP Senate and House candidate is pressed to comment on it.

First it was single family, then it was new builds, now 2-4 units. The single greatest tool we have for preserving affordable housing and building generation wealth. . All sales going forward will be to be venture capital firms and private equity. This major door to homeownership closed.
Lewis George's amendment fails on a 9-4 vote. And thus, the D.C. Council just exempted almost all 2-4 unit buildings in the city from TOPA. (Which wasn't initially included in the underlying RENTAL Act.)
