Had 2nd year undergraduate students out measuring stream flow on @mcmasteruniversity.bsky.social west campus this week for a hydrology lab session.
Despite a couple leaky waders, the students loved the practical hands-on experience. We saw a mink too! 🦦 #Neature

First salt tracer study successfully completed in my Yukon study streams!! Lots of surface and subsurface transient storage in these permafrost-rich headwater streams. Having some good tunes makes the stirring much easier. Many thanks to Matt Lindsay at USask for lending the geopump!
