American workers are no longer protected from illegal firings or unfair labor practices by their employers. The National Labor Relations Act of 1935 is effectively gone. Employers can now wreak havoc on their workers.

He does not plan to leave. He is changing the rule book and he has the weight of the oligarchy behind him.
Allow me to address the elephant in the room:

The Trump administration is not setting the course for a four-year term.

The Trump administration is setting the course for an everlasting dictatorship.

Are we all clear on this?

Trump’s team has really got me on my toes. I feel like I’ve been reading non stop, calling senators, informing others and planning my part in local marches thanks to the flurry of bullshit he’s flinging all at once. All while he’s taking away my personal freedoms. I fucking hate this timeline.

“We will need to undergo a similar national education campaign to help people understand why gender affirming care and social acceptance are so important to the basic humanity of trans people.”

Erasing history is not the way. Growing up in Alabama, the Tuskegee Airmen were a staple of our education. I couldn’t imagine a world where I didn’t know about their accomplishments.
The USAF has reversed itself "after uproar." We must continue to pay attention. We must continue to preserve & share the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen & the Women Airforce Service Pilots. I promised them I would always tell their stories. You can too. Knowledge is power! www.msn.com/en-us/news/u...

Surprised to run into my first “queer libtards crying over Trump and calling everyone a fascist for deporting disgusting immigrants and protecting idiots who don’t understand there are only two genders” on Bluesky. Yaaayyy /s

Cutting benefits does not make disabled people able to work.

Removing remote work does not make disabled people able to work.

Accommodating people’s needs does however allow more disabled people to work and thrive.

thrift stores shouldn't know the value of what they have. when a thrift store prices the good shit better than the rest of the junk that's insulting to me. that's a violation of the social contract

I keep thinking about this. If you define "masculine virtues" as "integrity, honesty, honor and generosity" (to use the example I keep seeing reposted), then what are the "feminine virtues"? What about being an honest honorable person is inherently masculine?
the boring, deflating answer to a lot of debates about "masculine virtues" is: there are adult virtues. everyone has to try to cultivate them in themselves the best they can, esp. the ones you personally are weak on. that is not a monetizable answer, but it's true

when I was a kid the worst thing you could possibly be was something called a fart knocker. we didn't know if it was someone who farted or someone who was knocked by farts. all we knew is we didn't want to be one

The Supreme Court ruled corporations were allowed to donate unlimited amounts to politicians in 2010.

It only took them 6 years to take complete control of the government and 15 years to mark sure their voices are the only ones the masses ever hear again.
