I haven’t seen anyone else start to grapple with the impact for programmers of the non-deterministic aspect of LLMs like this. So good!

Actually, next week marks 2 months, but I’ll be away (and largely offline in terms of work) for a family trip we already had planned before I started the new job.

Anyone else hate the term "sprint" in tech work? I like the idea of iterations, of course, but the term sprint implies a quick and short race. Sprints feel more like a marathon or an triathlon. 😂 They never end and there's seldom a time to catch your breath.

Such a fascinating article. This part on Apple culture rings true for me as a former Apple manager: "Others say Giannandrea isn’t hands-on enough and doesn’t drive his workers particularly hard."
