This Mazdean idea is preserved in the Persian(ate) astrological tradition, which accordingly likens the influences of meteors and other such stellar phenomena to those of the bazakkarān (‘bad-doers’), Wahrām and Kēwān.

In the cosmology of the Mazdeans, falling stars are unlike the benevolent awiyābānīgān (fixed stars) and rōšnān (luminaries) in that they portend an imminent “ambush” by the detestable legion of Ahriman.

Honestly, squaring the circle took a few years of continuous effort, on my part. The same I would imagine is true for someone trying to circle the square.

They're very misleading, too.
I've seen a lot of newcomers fuss about the "red lines" in their chart; some even get a weird sense of reassurance from their "blue lines" while knowing nothing of receptions.

Square charts are beginner-friendly and dilettante-proof.

Hīlāg is the most important planet (or mathematical point) in Persian natal astrology. We do not proceed to examine anything without having first identified the hīlāg.
