Pollingism is the Democratic default that assumes voters are rational actors, make their decisions on basis of issue preferences, & that polling can allow us to accurately discern how they will actually behave.

To me, there isn't a message nor a reason for one. Doing PR for the Traitorous 8 doesn't serve any purpose. Saying what we're for, IOW lifting up those doing the right thing, helps fortify resolve & shed light on who is with us while contrasting w MAGA who harms us.

My colleague calls Congress "the complaint department for capitalism." Every 2 or 6 years, we make believe 'we the people' choose our leaders, & we can call customer service hotline (Congressional switch board) to lodge complaints. All while real bosses actually billionaires.
