Sex, #shopping, eating, #socialmedia, drugs and #gambling are just some of the things that can trigger a release of dopamine, a #neurotransmitter in the brain that is involved in the brain’s reward system. The overindulgence of certain behaviours can disrupt #dopamine in our brain.

While Iraq has outlawed marriage under the age of 18 for almost 70 years, a 2023 UNICEF survey found that 28% of girls had married before 18 because of a loophole that allows religious leaders, to officiate marriages involving girls as young as 15, with the permission of their father.
