Foster carers are already stretched thin – chronically under-resourced and often have to dig into their own pockets to provide for their kids.

We can’t get complacent. We must keep showing up and raising our voices for Palestine, holding this government to account until freedom, self-determination, and justice is achieved.

There’s a Nationwide March for Gaza in Naarm this Sunday. Free Palestine

By allowing Australian weapons to be used, this government is complicit.

There is no neutrality in genocide.

This must be the turning point.

Victorian children deserve a safeguarding system that leaves no room for predatory behaviour to take hold.

Now more than ever, we must ensure that our child safe frameworks and systems are not only vigilant in identifying risks, but also prompt and effective in taking decisive action.

Housing is a human right, and right now, the Victorian Parliament is debating the Greens' bill to make it law.

Parents in Victoria are going through hell right now and to hear the Premier say she won’t apologise for breaking Parliamentary rules and failing to release documents about their children’s safety is shameful.

Private childcare has become a money-making machine, prioritising profit over caring for children.

Shocking abuse, like what was revealed last week, doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s a product of a sector that cuts corners, breaches staffing ratios & neglects child safety for the sake of corporate 💰

Yet again, the Vic Government & police are failing to protect victim-survivors.

In a family violence crisis, they should be doing everything in their power to protect women & children, not shirking responsibility on key safety measures.

Premier, listen to the coroner. Implement these reforms now.

We are in a crisis.

Family violence incidents are up 40%. One women is killed every two weeks. 1 in 3 men admit to intimate partner abuse.

But police don’t have “capacity” to do the bare minimum to protect us?

Eid Mubarak! عيد مبارك 🌙✨

During this time of gathering, reflection, joy & gratitude, we are thinking especially of Palestinians, enduring yet another Eid under violence and persecution.

To all those celebrating, we're wishing you a safe and beautiful celebration filled with love and peace. 🌸🕌

Disabled people are not second-class citizens.

Recently there have been shocking incidents against disabled people in taxis and ride-shares, from being denied access to vehicles because of guide dog needs, to horrific instances of violent abuse and exploitation.

Despite what Brad Battin and the Liberals say, January 26th protests are not “hateful”.

The only hateful thing is celebrating a day that marks the beginning of invasion, dispossession, and genocide of First Nations people.

I’ll be marching on Sunday, and I hope you can join. ✊🏽

International Human Rights Day calls us to reflect on the fight for justice, especially for our First Nations peoples. Dutton’s comments on removing Aboriginal flags highlight the urgent need to centre First Nations voices and continue the work of achieving justice, recognition, and reconciliation.

Pacific Islands are standing up at the International Court of Justice, holding high-emitting countries like Australia accountable for their role in the climate crisis.

The Pacific Islands didn’t cause this crisis, but they are on the frontlines. Australia, it’s time to listen.
