i learned shape keys to remaster this
i have technology.
theres actually a version that starts with a single slash mark in frame 1, i wonder if its actually a 6 frame anim and its only hitting odds or evens in 30fps? but the gist is there, its a slash or two at the start, followed by a flash that stretches perpendicularly over time

nowhere on the internet does there seem to be a sprite rip for the Z-Saber's hitsparks, which give the awesome impression of slashing through the hitspark itself. so, i threw together my own without a reference to guide me...

this last one's not nearly as special unfortunately, but its the last one i have a good demo of. just the basic states of doodle-sonic, minus interactions like damage and springboards. i used em in a 2d sonic prototype a couple years ago, which i also never finished lol (4/4)

tewi's here is special, since its based on the animation that inspired the game concept so many years ago, COOL&CREATE's UsaTei mv. well, inspired by that and like, SMBZ (ouch), Haloid... all those zippy and overstimulating videogame fighting things that fucking ruled. (3/4)
