Am I confused or does the article actually not substantiate the headline at all?

Doing road trips in the US, after moving here from Europe, really was rather enlightening. Driving for hours, seeing no gas station and just a few other cars (during daytime!) is basically not possible in large parts of Europe.

Please include a frequency limit too. A lot of it just seems to be written because something had to be handed in, rather than something that needed to be said.

And he strategically retired to allow his seat to be refilled by Kavanaugh. Who has ... not been a boon to democracy.

Huh? Western borders?

Very rarely, at least in the older stuff. There's even an episode or two that mention cops never using their weapon in anger all their career.

What does that even have to do with the case at hand? If this were a concurrence in a case about, IDK, TPS or such, maybe, I guess, somehow, kinda Kav's writing could make sense. But here?

A file handle, but not a file. Except for bash emulating opening network connections via files...

UNIX, pointing at network IO, except you, you are special.

Do you see a reason for DIO to not be coming from applications? That seems somewhat odd..

You're saying that "rewrite it from scratch" isn't the answer??!?

That's some ghoulish shit.

Not having to go to a gas station, assuming you can charge over night, is surprisingly nice.

Not being admired while being allowed to print money doing the stupidest possible projects really seems to be the basis of a lot of their complaints. All the while they have been doing less and less funding of actually interesting things.

We're lucky in a way that this is done in musk's clumsy way, rather than more intelligently... But that's just a question of time / the AI's operator.

With the express fucking goal of counteracting the will of voters. I'm really just dumbfounded by that either not being mentioned at all or just mentioned in an aside, in the second to last paragraph.

Don't just talk about the attack on Padilla, also talk about the authoritarian BS that Noem was uttering: "liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that the governor and the mayor have placed on this country."
June 12, 2025 at 9:45 PM
The attack on Padilla was really bad - but Noem's statements at that presser (“liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that the governor and the mayor have placed on this country.”) is *WAY* *WAY* worse.

Please make sure to also push back against that.
