I have to walk back to the plaza. Why? Because the one store I truly thought wouldn't have my cord, has my cord. I'm going to go get it now.

I just gave myself a haircut. And I look so doofy. However, it's for science!

Goodness, I've already walked about 6 miles today, and it took a fair number of spoons to do so. I'm not really sure I have enough motivation to do more than build my EEG device, and not programming it today. I want the data, though...

What I can say right now, is that tomorrow I begin the experiments that I hope will create a new dawn.

I'm going to make my brain my bitch.

So, working hard. My phone broke, (roughly 30% of the digitizer doesn't work. Most people would call it unusable). But, despite that, I work. Logged in on my computer tonight.

I have done so much, but I'm in a transitory period as far as photos.

Going to start a patreon. I don't think I can get hardware built without it. I'm hoping to get a few clips out soon showing the vision framework. Great for minimizing distractions, but I need some custom models that I'm too busy trying to find work to build.

OK, the first 12 progress bars made sense, but this one? Nah, seems sus..

My computer is so weak, I'm using music distortion to make sure it's still running. It...kinda hurts...

We are so tired... it's so hard to just live another day now. We don't want to anymore.

The next four years will kill us, and we just want to hit skip.

Being poor is rough. I'm almost out of solder and wires. I'm actually using ad hoc wires as it is, (I'm splicing breadboarding wire)... wish me luck at my interview...

Is anyone else getting nervous about how it kinda seems like trump is filling the entire government with his rich friends?

There are a strange amount of beautiful 20-something women desperate to talk to me for some reason.

Look, whatever your motivation, you're barking up the wrong tree. I don't date. By choice. And I'm so poor, I build my tech out of trash. And not good trash...

Happy to chat, though!

Trust people who share their power. Avoid people who hoard their power.

Trust people who empower those who have lower societal status than they do. Avoid people who are only interested in those above them.

There's a lot more American Indigenous visibility on Bluesky, and it reminds me of the sobering fact that reservations, and Native Americans as they exist today, were never taught in my education.

Scavenging parts definitely makes it harder to plan out a build, but it is so much better. In the last 2 days, I got 6 rechargeable batteries with chargers and regulators, a motor, a speaker, and a solar panel. I'm elated!

Imagine Boondock Saints from the perspective of some random stray cat
There's a meme making fun of "cinephiles" preferring to watch boring art films where the story is told "from the perspective of a stray dog" or "through the eyes of a dying pigeon". And... where does that come from? I can't think of an art house film that does that.
