I want science communication to contain narrative.

I want it to be honest and insightful.

I want it to be in and for our community.

We did all of this at our SASSY "Little Lab of Horrors" event this week and I am so, so proud of our storytellers and the work we put into this.

Did you miss the chance to pitch your story for our last SASSY science storytelling event? I have good news for you — we are doing it again.

The theme is LITTLE LAB OF HORRORS and we invite you to interpret it loosely, we just ask that it is your real story to tell and has some tie-in to science.

Maybe you've seen some chatter about the impact of LLMs on our brains.

Well, when it comes to brains and learning, @grimalkina.bsky.social and I have some thoughts.

Our latest episode episode is live and yes, a little spicy. 🔥

Researchers often simplify findings to summarize, sure.

There are some compelling summary thoughts about their findings on page 106 but damn would I love to see some more of this 1) directly grounded in their data and 2) citations for *literally anything that is claimed here".
