American voters regardless of partisan affiliation have been quite isolationist for most of American history, it’s just elites postured towards the voters and actually acted the other way (Obama bashing NAFTA but negotiating the TPP), but eventually voters figured out what was going on.

If your state has less than 10% public land, it is not a real place.

The next Dem administration should take the chance to covert a lot of privately owned rural land into public and indigenous land.
