Today, hundreds of NOAA employees lost their jobs. It’s heartbreaking. It feels like a gut punch to my American friends who didn’t choose this, to those of us relying on federal grants to protect our oceans, and to every researcher now caught in this mess through no fault of their own.

Funny enough this morning, I found his biopsy. Crazy to think he’s out there minding his own business, while we’re trying to figure out everything we can about his health!

Hi 🦋, I’m a French postdoc researcher in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 I study the impact of contaminants like pesticides and flame retardants on the health of marine mammals, particularly killer whales. I did my PhD on the diet and contaminant risks in North Atlantic killer whales.
