Just had a man at a bar explaining to me what Czech lager is by telling me it's from Denmark 💀

Oh the Salted Butter packaging is so different from the French one (which is just a big Breton reference). And they get the same in the UK

You'll find gorgeous pictures by @cmluttun.bsky.social in this piece. Allow me to share some vintage ones from Ty Élise back in the days.

Le fait que le mec qui a écrit ça dit aussi ceci est quand même très inquiétant.

This is what some of the workers posted on the bar social media last week (the Facebook and Instagram pages are now deleted)

Really nice piece! Gorgeous illustration, which forces me to share this amazing boar sculpture placed along the highway in the Ardennes department (the boar is called Woinic fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woinic)

Well, we have our own Cornwall in Brittany. And many Bretons in Finistère actually feel closer to the U.K. than to the rest of French people (maybe I'll dip a bit into that soon 🤫)
And Lorient hosts the biggest festival dedicated to Celtic culture (750.000 visitors each year!)

Then you will also like these ones!

I've grown obsessed with Coreff Real Ale these last few months. Why does this beer even exist? How is it still here 40 years later? What about other French real ale?

I've answered it all for @pelliclemag.com 💖

This is for my 14 year-old-self who thought being girly was lame and carried self-hatred for too long.

Just wanted to share what two British guys had to say about "Kronenbourg Tradition Anglaise" in the 90s (from "The Beers of France" 1998) next to the ad for that specific beer in 1994—it reads "Inspired by the country where you can laugh about everything except beer".

Back in France. Treating myself to celebrate my award with a glass of my favourite champagne rosé (from Alain Legras in Chouilly, Côte des Blancs) 🥂🏆

I've been writing about beer for two years in a language that's not my own and have won four awards so far. That's a flex!
(trying to be confident and get out of the "they gave me awards to make me happy" state of mind)

I'll be in London at the end of the month because I've been shortlisted in three (3!) categories at the British Guild of Beer Writers 2024 Awards (Best Newcomer | Cider | Diversity). This is surreal 🥹

Two years ago, I saw this painting in Prague National Gallery and I still think about it once a week (I just love it so much).
