Batman and the Joker, which is an idea that had been tried out for decades all the way back to when prince was writing songs for the movie and even a couple of years prior in futures end. Even he comes of as more personable joker at points, the multiversal angle really helps him stand out.

If you want to realize how much marvel heroes have risen in popularity, just look at how in this 2006 ruler they were all just described as spider-man’s friend.

The early years stories are a fun mix captain America, spider-man and Thor. Contrary to the popular consensus I think CB’s first costume is pretty cool, both in color and in the B&W stories. It has enough detail/accessories to make distinct from other heroes while also having a distinct silhouette.

Since I normally don’t mention individual scenes in my weekly review, I wanted to highlight a particularly hilarious moment in this week’s world’s finest when robin chews round bizzaro world gum and accidentally makes a square before it bursts in his face. It genuinely made me chuckle out loud.

After a month’s worth of recommendations, I finally watched Kpop Demon Hunters and yes, it’s pretty excellent.
Even I, who has the slimmest understanding of kpop immediately loved the songs. Also, the final tip what made finally want to watch it was this post, because I just loved the wording of it.

of humor that I most like, with a child’s curiosity hurting others, hilariously. I was also not expecting for both the show and the illustrations to have that many suicide jokes, but guess different times create different humors. They were at least mocking the concept more than the victims of it

Something else I wanted you to know mention is that found very amusing when riri’s suit was compared to a transformer in the show because I always thought her original comic suit looked super similar to Optimus prime.

This has probably already been noted and commented on by other people but today I was using the Bluesky app on an iPad and for some reason it was sized to a phone screen and accompanied by an enlarge button that still left black bars on the side. It honestly just left me incredibly baffled.

Man, Deadpool and Batman crossover looks really fun. I’m even just entertained by the irony of due to then choosing artists that have worked in both companies, so in the marvel side they have Greg Capullo who most recently worked in marvel books but has also drawn tons of famous Batman stories.

They have been talking about the pope thing on tv all day and in a true moment of scrapping for content they had a live feed of the chimney while two reporters and a priest talked about the conclave. It honestly looks like the chimney is positioned like the a slug to counteract queer stuff.

is a shame because if you don’t know, it’s incredible surprising.
What made it worse for me, was that I had seen an image of the characters looking at a fire that happens during the last 20 minutes and honestly the film doesn’t help itself by having the opening scene happen after 90% of the story.

The reason to have the storms come along is nonsensical and the excuse is flimsy, also the hair on the mister fantastic actor to make him look like the comic looks like it’s made of plastic.

I been reading reading some FF books before the new movie, apropos of that I’m also going to watch the FF movies starting with the '94 one that was a fascinating production history that I would recommend anybody reading to look up.

A lot of good comics came out this week, one I want to highlight is the DCxSonic crossover which came out swinging out of the gate with the best qualities of any great crossover. One panel that show that really well is this one, where in just a panel the relationship between the 2 characters evolve,

Something that I love in fandom, that as been happening with marvel rivals, is speculating fan art, where people draw what they imagined will be the future appearance of something they like, it also happens a lot with doctor who and the MCU. It’s always fun to look back at after a couple of years.

Since I now watched the 3 version a of Nosferatu, I decided to see shadow of the vampire, I thought about seeing it before the new one but I had a feeling that it was better after. That feeling was correct because while I enjoyed Skarsgård performance in the new movie, Defoe is my favorite Orlok,
I saw nosferatu and it was awesomesauce. All the actors gave subtly exaggerated performances and I loved how it remixed the story of the 1922 movie to make it closer to the Dracula book than any other movie. Also this is the Dracula story that most explores the psychosexual elements of vampirism.
