I've kept many of these photos deliberately dark because this is how I seen the streets in person. An atmosphere of quiet, despite many people walking around, all lit with just candlelight. Beautiful.

Birgufest is a incredible festival of light, held in Birgu, Malta. The city is blanketed in candle lit alleys, live music, a general sense of togetherness. It is one of the most beautiful sights in Malta.

One of the nicest things about Sliema is the richly coloured doorways and windows, alternating colour down every street. It makes for some great photography.
