Sorry, I'm kinda inbetween catchphrases right now.

Does he spend a lower percentage of the other albums ranting about different women than like 80%? If so I might like them, but that's my issue with this album that I can't begin to get over.

The synthesizer sounds like the exact half way between "90s videogame soundtrack" and "Saturday morning cartoon jingle" and I just could not get over it lol

Bluesky equivalent of an Englishman walking into an Irish pub in the 70s and asking "how's life treating you?"

As for Arachne and Echo... I guess? But the "fan fiction" they're sticking to still follows myth when it can. They could've chosen not to write in those characters to begin with, but I feel like their stories are abt growing past trauma without excusing the abusers (especially arachne)

The same cycle which led down that path to begin with. Even though I think it's ultimately unearned, I don't think it's misogynistic because its a criticism that the story is laying at the feat of all the olympians. I think its just sort of weak and badly led up to.

She still has active agency over the story, its still her choice what to do in the end and her choice to trust Zagreus that there are better ways. It's not asking to straight up "forgive" an abuser, but not to respond to repetence by furthering a cycle all the olympians already have gone through.

Uh, no not really? I actually don't like Hades 2's story that much for entirely different reasons but I can't see how the ending is sexist, and the only real way I see Arachne and echo as sexist is kind of the sexism inherent to the Greek stories they're a part of

...Wait are you talking about something in the epilogue of Hades 2 or...? I'm about half way through the post-game and can only think of a way the story is misogynistic if I reaaaaally reach

It comes from an entirely unrelated bond short story unfortunately.

I think the day of the dead shot is a different Bond actually lol

The issue is that the concept and the writing are not the same thing. The concept has promise, but the actual writing, the way characters interact with one another and the way information is presented is downright awful.

It was absolutely terrible BUT it was better then Artemis Fowl so it COULD be worse.

The only store where you can grab an item on the shelf labeled at 20$ and not know until checkout whether the product costs between 20 cents and 2000$!

Mohamed Bouazizi's death was the impetus for the largest series of uprisings of the 21st century. Norman Morrison's legacy reverberated throughout the Vietnam war. Not condoning the act as something people should do, but denigrating the dead via saying it's the dumbest way to protest is misguided.
