Sports can be a funny thing but this is a reminder they are part of the civic landscape and it's a beautiful thing when, whether they care about baseball or not, everyone gets on the bandwagon and you see the diverse, often squabbling city come together for a special, few moments.

Honestly, for Toronto and Jays fans that is an unforgettable, indelible, brutal way to lose. That is pure heartbreak, pure what-if, forever. And that’s part of what made that one of the best baseball games anyone will ever see.
