Yesterday, I finally visited the wonderful Pech Merle cave.
A very moving and thrilling experience.
Especially grateful for the patience and bravery of my 2-year old who accompanied me 40 meters underground ☺️

51 years ago, my home country (Portugal) overthrew dictatorship. The military coup became known as the Carnation Revolution as soldiers placed the red flowers in barrels of their guns to celebrate freedom and the success of a what was mostly a peaceful revolution.
