what’s old is new again
Reading Independent People and finding it amusing that it referenced both the wheel in relation to life being what it is and also that there is a town in Iceland called Myrdal. I really must have Wheel of Time on the brain.

post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, or alice in chains.

Book 7 finished! Only 7 more to go 😁 #wheeloftime

There are just too many books out there to read.

Anaconda was fun and silly.

My Stephen King journey will continue in the new year. It’s exactly what I wanted. #readingisfundamental #reading2026

The Aes Sedai are so overbearing. I kept hoping they’d get theirs. FINALLY Lord of Chaos came through. I was pretty sure the lord of chaos wasn’t Rand because it seemed too obvious but now I’m not sure.

Watching the season finale for Welcome to Derry and I really hope these soldiers get what’s coming to them. Rooting for Pennywise 😂

This book is sucking my will to read other books. I only have two chapters left though. Two really long chapters 😫

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

Read a lot of King this month. Trying to read books I’ve bought with the intent to read but keep getting distracted by recommendations #readingisfundamental #reading2025

Pigs must be flying because I read an actual book on my TBR rather than something I just saw 😂

I basically want to see every adaptation of Buffalo Hunter Hunter . . . graphic novel, yes please . . . movie you say, would be appreciated.

The audiobook is so good. I remember thinking when reading the book that I thought it’d be an excellent audiobook. Glad I was right.

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter audiobook looks really peak. The book was so good decided I have to listen.

The audiobook narration for The Dark Tower just isn’t doing it for me. The first one was kinda okay and I got used to it but the second one is just a no. I feel like I might get more out of reading them. Maybe The Running Man?

Saw Running Man last and Derry made a cameo and all I could think was don’t go there Pennywise will get you! Also I thought it was funny that the book is actually set in 2025. Did King get it right? 😂

The Stand is so long and yet still very engaging. I’m nearing the end and I’m like after Vegas blew up he’s really going the distance. I do wonder why Mother Abigail sent them all West, it didn’t seem necessary. I’m like was it to just bear witness. It was just like a waste and sad.

I think I was promised cold weather this weekend and it is falling far short. I had dreams of reading outside.

All these hefty books. I just picked up Empire of the Dawn and I definitely wouldn’t want to lob it at someone’s head. It might do some damage.

The House in the Cerulean Sea was so cozy. It’s so far afield from what I normally read, not a single world raised my ire. It was soothing. 🥰

I only went in to look but for once the indie bookstore closest to me had had two books I was considering buying AND two books I was thinking about ON SALE dirt cheap. So good for them but bad for my pocketbook. Alas! BUT ALSO BOOKS 💗 💗 💗

I feel like I didn’t read as much but maybe I’m just reading heftier books. Did come to the conclusion that I should probably only read nonfiction rather than listen. #readingisfundamental📚 #reading2025
