We were using a drone-based LiDAR to assess the feasibility of using a drone for estimating iceberg/sea ice thickness (data processing pending), and got some gorgeous footage of seals in the process❄️

An unexpected highlight from our recent fieldwork in Southern Iceland with @cpom-uk.bsky.social - Jökulsárlón is connected to the sea, so there were plenty of seals in the lake that we caught on camera🦭
