I used to work in NTS tourist shops in Edinburgh & we had a tea towel with various traditional Scottish phrases. My favourite was "Yer jaiket's on a shoogly peg", but "Awa' an' beil yer heid" was a close 2nd - it seems very appropriate for this situation.
